Hackney Museum and Archives has a recognised specialism in producing creative exhibition, education and outreach programmes with an expertise in histories which explore migration, race, identity, home and belonging.  Their work explores the interconnections between the local and the global through the stories of the people who have made Hackney. Hackney Museum’s mission is ‘To collect, conserve and hold in trust the heritage of the borough to encourage a sense of local identity and pride.’ Hackney Museum currently delivers educational sessions to over 3000 primary and secondary school pupils a year.
