Local Roots / Global Routes

Local Roots / Global Routes was a collaborative project between UCL based Legacies of British Slave-ownership and Hackney Museum and Archives. It was part of the Share Academy programme which was funded by Arts Council England (ACE). Running from December 2013 to June 2015, the project facilitated the creation of a Key Stage 3 (ages 13-14) resource concerning the links between Hackney and transatlantic slavery.
